So, in the course of this whole Parent Forum journey we’ve become aware that behind the strict policies we’re seeing Astrea bring into St Ivo is a Government initiative called Behaviour Hub that roles out this kind of thing around the country. We’ve worked really hard to create a petition that can go straight to the heart of this.

If we want change at St Ivo it looks like we’re going to need to ask for change in how the Government are approaching behaviour in schools.
There’s even a Government policy that every teacher training has to train in a Behaviour Hub school!

Please share the petition with everyone you know, especially if they’re struggling with these kind of discipline policies. Things like – toilet restrictions, silence, detentions for minor things etc etc
